Hazlemere Golf Club was one of the first clubs in the area to achieve the Golf Mark Award.

  • The club offers a fun, enjoyable and a welcoming environment.
  • Parents can be assured that the golf club is Junior and Beginner friendly, the needs of young golfers have been considered and addressed.
  • The club is a safe and organized environment where staff and volunteers are trained to support the needs of young golfers.
  • Young golfers are taught a game that will teach them respect, social and life skills, discipline and honesty.
  • Young golfers are provided with appropriate levels of coaching and competition.
  • The club has met the official quality standard from the national governing bodies of England.

Junior Membership Fees
Juniors 16 to 17 years old ~ £200 p.a.
Juniors 12 to 15 years old ~ £150 p.a.
Juniors under 12 years old ~ £50 p.a.
 
Hazlemere has a long history of developing Junior Golfers:
  • Luke Donald, one of the top 30 golfers in the world, began his golfing career at Hazlemere and was a previous Hazlemere Junior Champion.
  • Adam Birdseye, another previous Hazlemere Junior Champion, was the 2008 Berks, Bucks and Oxon Scratch Player of the Year.
  • Josh Stanners, our current Junior Champion, was the overall winner of the Nick Faldo Series UK Championship at Brocket Hall on the 27th & 28th July, 2009.  Josh, who played in the Under 16's category, had the lowest score for all categories, including the Under 18's and 21's.  Josh then went on tho the Faldo Series Grand Final in Rio de Janeiro in October to compete against the top juniors from across the world.  Josh came 4th in the Under16 category - a very creditable result.
 
Our Junior Section is run by, Gavin Cousins, our Head PGA Professional and Junior Organizer with support from other members of our club.  There are regular competitions and Fun Days to encourage Junior Members to become involved with the club and develop their golfing and social skills.
