Hazlemere has a very active Junior Section where course etiquette and courtesy to others is taught as well as the
techniques of golf. Hazlemere has been accredited with the Golf Mark Award as a result of its work with Juniors and
Beginners. The Junior Organizer is supported by the Junior Captain, Junior Match Organizer, Junior Vice Captain, Junior Past Captain and three Junior Members who meet regularly to ensure the smooth running of the Section.
The Junior Organizer runs a full calendar of qualifying and fun competitions throughout the year which are played either on a Saturday afternoon during term time or during the school holidays. Junior boys are also eligible to play in Men's competitions and Junior girls are eligible to play in Ladies' competitions.
Juniors also play matches against other local clubs in the Isis League and in 2008 they were the LEAGUE CHAMPIONS. In 2009 our Juniors came 3rd in the league.
