A warm welcome to the following new members who have joined since my last update as a result of the open day:

 

Gillian Shephard a full playing member

Stephen Goldsmith a full playing member

 

It is with much regret that I have to announce that Bob Scott, Director without Portfolio, has decided to resign as a Director of Hazlemere Golf Club Limited.  During his membership of the board he has been instrumental in the development and implementation of the commercial strategy that the club is following.  On behalf of the board of Directors and all the members I would like to thank Bob for the significant contribution he has made during his time on the board.

I am pleased to announce that Dougie Vance has agreed, in line with article 102 of the companies articles, to fill the vacancy created by Bob's resignation and take the position of Director without Portfolio. Dougie has recently been a member of the board and will be aware of the issues facing the board at this time.

 

I would like to wish the best of luck to all members who are playing in the club championship over the weekend.
