A warm welcome to Paul Gilchrist who has joined the club as an Adult playing member since my last update.

 

A reminder for all shareholding members: there are two briefings about the Gym project being held this Saturday 17th at 11 am and 3 pm in the Trophy Room.  The General Meeting of shareholders is taking place at 8 pm on Tuesday 20th July in the Luke Donald Suite.

 

Summer BBQ:  A reminder to all members their families and friends that our Summer BBQ is being held on Sunday the 25th July starting at 1:00 pm.  Everybody is welcome and Brendan has a fantastic range of BBQ dishes to tempt all ages and appetites.  No need to book just turn up and have a great afternoon.

 

Those of you who have played the course over the last couple of weeks will have seen that all of the shelters on the course have been repainted, a very big thank you to the following members who under took the project: Linda Rodgers, Alan Wells, Jeff Bryant, Alf Priest, Lyn Radley and Jane Doyle.  Also a belated thank you to Geoff Bourne and Linda Rodgers for installing the two new televisions in the bar.

 

I am pleased to announce that we will be hosting the Adam Blackwell Golf Day on Friday 3rd September.  As with last year all profits raised will go towards the Teenage and Young People Funds at the Oxford Radcliff Hospital.  There are sign up sheets on the club notice boards for any member who wants to take part.

 

As the holiday period is fast approaching I would like to take the opportunity to wish all members and their families an enjoyable holiday.
