Bunker Fund Mixed Alliance ~ Sunday 15th January, 2011

   
It was certainly a cold and frosty morning on Sunday the 15th January, but it was very sunny for the 98 members who played in the first mixed competition of the New Year.  Although we played on temporary greens this did not spoil the fun and it certainly helped create some awesome scores!!
 
Many thanks go to Daphne Pinner, Anne Suter and Jean Carter for their help on the registration desk and to Darren for the Bacon Rolls at the halfway point - most enjoyable with a hot coffee on such a cold day.  It was a very successful day with £315.00 being raised for the Bunker Fund.
 
Before the Captain, Garry Hartley and the Ladies' Captain, Gilly Stimpson, presented the prize certificates to the winning teams Gavin Cousins drew the results of the Xmas Pro Shop Draw.
