Nearly 50 ladies attended the Ladies' Prize Presentation Evening in the Luke Donald Suite on Thursday the 22nd October, 2009.  The Ladies' Captain, Carol Line, presented the prizes and trophies for the following Board & Trophy competitions: 

Carol also presented prizes for the recent Club Medal and Fun competitions.  Well done to all the winners!

 

After the presentations one of Brendan's great suppers was served and this was followed by a very informative and entertaining talk by Dr. Tony Maisey about the Concept of Pain.

 

Josh Stanners competed in Nick Faldo Series Grand Final in Rio de Janeiro on the 28th to 30th October.  This 54 Hole competition over three days had 70 boys and girls from all over the world competing to be the Champion of their category.

 

Josh, one of 17 boys in the Under 16 category, came a very creditable 4th place with a gross 228 for the three rounds.  Well done Josh you did us proud!

 

We all hope Josh enjoyed the experienece of competing with the very best Juniors from accross the world and also enjoyed the 'off course' challenges with Nick Faldo.
