2009 - A Great Year for the Hazlemere Teams

The Men's Scratch Team had a great year and won Section 4 of the Oxfordshire Foursomes League. They won five of their eight matches and drew one gaining 20 points and beating their nearest rival Carswell who only achieved 16.5 points. Both Hazlemere and Carswell were promoted to Section 3 for 2010. Well done to the Hazlemere Team of:-

Ladies' Bronze Scratch Team |

The Ladies' Bronze Scratch Team also had a great year and won Division 1 of the Buckinghamshire Summer Bronze Scratch League. This was a remarkable feat as the Hazlemere Team were only promoted to Division 1 in 2008 after coming 1st in Division 2 in 2007. |

The Men's Chiltern Breakfast League Team had a successful year winning the majority of their matches and coming 3rd in Division A. In particular the awesome pair of Pete Putnam and Phil Sedgwick won all their matches and were Joint Players of the Year for their Division. |

The Ladies' Winter Scratch League came 2nd and the Ladies Summer Silver Scratch League came 3rd in their respective Leagues. The Juniors also came 3rd in the Isis League and well done to all the Ladies', Veterans' and Lady Veterans' who played in the Friendly Matches throughout the year. |
