Twenty seven teams, 108 golfers, from six counties took part in the inaugural Charity Golf Day at Hazlemere Golf Club on Thursday the 29th April in support of The OASIS Partnership - a new charity which offers support to anyone whose life is affected by their own or someone else's drug or alcohol use.  The services of OASIS are available across Buckinghamshire and are provided from their two main bases in High Wycombe and Aylesbury as well as through satellite services and outreach provision.

 

Although the Charity Golf Day raised money on the day it was run primarily to establish the valuable services OASIS has to offer the NHS, Social Services, the Police and other Service Providers who are involved in tackling the issues of young people affected by drug or alcohol use.  The day was very successful and all who took part had a great day with great golf, great food and great company.  Hazlemere Golf Club were pleased to be able to support this inaugural golf day by waving the Green Fees and look forward to supporting OASIS again next year.
